For this week’s staff spotlight, we have Dr. Jordan. For those of you who don’t know, she just moved into a new house outside of Mantorville, MN. Feel free to ask the next time you see her about some of the adventures they have had with the move!
RCW Team Member Spotlight
Name: Jordan Schmidt
Hometown: Everly, IA
Family: Husband: Matt Schmidt, Fur Children: Piper and Sherman
Chiropractic start: I saw a chiropractor as a child for sports injuries. I always loved the way I felt after an adjustment, and I wanted to be able to share that feeling with others.
Favorite activity when not at RCW: I love to be outside – gardening, hiking with my dogs, or being on the water. We just moved into a house on 10 acres, so it has been an adventure so far adjusting back to country living. Imagine two dogs who love to be adventurous, and a field right next to the house with fresh manure on it! Let’s just say lots of bathes were given that first week of moving in.
One fun fact about you that not many people know: I went to a very small school. My graduating high school class was 30 people! And 2 of them were my cousins!
Travel Dreams: Australia – I would love to snorkel along the Great Barrier Reef!
What I love about RCW: We have the best group of women working here, and they make it fun to come to work! Also our patients are awesome, everyday is a new adventure.
Chiropractic Philosophy: I believe that chiropractic is beneficial at any age, from a new born baby to the elderly. Everyone’s body has the innate ability to heal itself, and chiropractic can be the catalyst of that healing process.
Favorite Advice: Be happy with what you have, while working towards what you want.
